On one hand: I probably shouldn’t be eating them, as, like kiwis and many other Southern, non-European fruits, their juice burns the lining of my cheeks and tongue right off.
On the other: they’re cheap at the market this week (2 big ones for 50p!) and I really love the taste of them.
Is there anything I can do to reduce the acid content? I’ve heard my problem is common, but searches just result in recommendations to eat pineapple for acid reflux, not ways to reduce pineapple acidity.
